Technology stocks were poised to fall at the opening bell as bond yields hit their highest level in three years and investors awaited more details about the Federal Reserve’s plan to raise interest rates.
Futures for the S&P 500 slipped 1% Wednesday. The benchmark stocks gauge fell 1.3% Tuesday after Fed governor Lael Brainard said the central bank was strongly committed to curbing inflation.
