AEON BiG appoints Sheikh Farouk as managing director
KUALA LUMPUR: AEON BiG (M) Sdn Bhd has appointed Sheikh Farouk Sheikh Mohamed as managing director effective July 1.
The retailer said Sheikh Farouk, 44 has 22 years of experience in the retail, food and beverage as well as banking sectors with 10 years in overseas including Switzerland, the Philippines and Singapore.
He first joined AEON BiG in 2021 as the head of AEON BiG and within this short period has successfully driven the company on its digital transformational journey.
Prior to joining AEON BiG, he served Nestle’s group of companies for 18 years. He is also a Chartered Accountant from CIMA UK and a registered member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).
