Israel stocks lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 0.50% By Investing.com


Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the declined 0.50%.
The best performers of the session on the were Ormat Technologies (TASE:), which rose 2.24% or 580.00 points to trade at 26,500.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Melisron (TASE:) added 1.29% or 340.00 points to end at 26,660.00 and Mivne Real Estate KD Ltd (TASE:) was up 1.25% or 15.00 points to 1,216.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Energix (TASE:), which fell 2.85% or 35.00 points to trade at 1,195.00 at the close. Maytronics (TASE:) declined 2.59% or 159.00 points to end at 5,973.00 and Shufersal (TASE:) was down 2.14% or 62.00 points to 2,835.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 332 to 169 and 30 ended unchanged.
Shares in Maytronics (TASE:) fell to 52-week lows; down 2.59% or 159.00 to 5,973.00.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 4.08% or 4.01 to $94.25 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 4.18% or 4.30 to hit $98.48 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.14% or 2.70 to trade at $1,948.30 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.27% to 3.21, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.14% to 3.50.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.24% at 99.99.
