Australia says it has now covered the majority of Russia’s banking assets with sanctions
Australia’s Foreign Minister Marissa Payne:
- says Australian government places
sanctions on Russian national wealth fund and the Russian ministry of
finance - says majority of Russia’s
banking assets now covered by sanctions along with all of the
entities that handle Russia’s sovereign debt
