McDonald’s and More Companies That Raised Their Dividends This Week

were among the large U.S. companies that declared dividend increases this week.
Fast-food restaurant company McDonald’s (ticker: MCD) said it plans to boost its quarterly disbursement to $1.38 a share, up 7% from $1.29.
The stock, which yields 2.1%, has returned about 16% this year, dividends included, as of Sept. 23, versus around 20% for the S&P 500.
Aerospace and defense company Lockheed Martin (LMT) declared a quarterly dividend of $2.80 a share. That’s an increase of nearly 8%.
The stock, whose return is down about 1% year to date, yields 3%.
Exploration and production company ConocoPhillips (COP) said it plans to boost its quarterly dividend by about 7% to 46 cents a share from 43 cents. The stock, which yields 2.8%, has returned about 63% this year.
Accenture
(ACN), a consulting firm, declared a quarterly dividend of 97 cents a share, a 10% hike from 88 cents. The stock, which has returned 33% in 2021, yields 1.1%.
Energy company
APA
(APA) said it would more than double its quarterly payout to 6.25 cents a share from 2.5 cents.
The stock, which yields 1.1%, has returned around 52% this year.
JPMorgan Chase
(JPM), one of the nation’s largest banks, said it plans to pay a quarterly disbursement of $1 a share, up 11% from 90 cents.
The stock, which has returned about 29% this year, yields 2.5%.
